Coach Trent Partridge

Coach Trent Partridge, the head coach of the LSUA Softball team, boasts an impressive coaching and playing history. Before leading LSUA, Trent spent two successful seasons as the head coach at Anacoco High School, guiding the team to state runner-up finishes both years. His coaching prowess extends to baseball, where he enjoyed eight seasons of success, including a State Championship win, three state semifinal appearances, and four quarterfinal appearances.

As a player, Trent was a standout four-time all-state pitcher and clinched a State Championship. His collegiate journey began at Baton Rouge Community College before transferring to Northwestern State University to pursue his degree after a career-ending injury.

In his interim role as head coach at LSUA, Trent led the team to a commendable 24-21 record. During this time, LSUA dominated conference play, leading in hits, average, and doubles, while securing second place in Runs, Home runs, and RBI’s.

His first full year as head coach LSUA achieved remarkable success, boasting a 38-14 record and clinching the RRAC Tournament Championship. This achievement was bolstered by the recognition of six all-conference players, including the Red River Player of the Year. LSUA's offensive prowess was evident as they finished #12 in the nation in batting average and #17 in home runs.

Summing up Trent's coaching tenure at LSUA, the team's record stands at an impressive 62-35, showcasing his ability to lead and inspire success both on and off the field.
